Dear Mom Guilt, see ya later.

Dear Mom Guilt, see ya later.

January 21, 1970 · Rachel, Founder of Mother Muna

Dear Mom Guilt,

It’s time for us to have a talk. You’ve been a constant presence in my life as a mother, always reminding me of the things I’m not doing or should be doing better. But I’ve come to realize that you’re holding me back from truly enjoying my role as a mother.

I know you come from a place of love, but your constant nagging and criticisms only make me feel guilty and inadequate. It’s time for me to let go of you and embrace a more positive mindset. I need to focus on the things I’m doing well as a mother and acknowledge that it’s okay to make mistakes.

I’m not a perfect mother, and I never will be. But that’s okay. I’m doing the best I can with the resources and knowledge I have. I need to trust myself and have confidence in my abilities as a parent.

So, Mom Guilt, it’s time for us to part ways. I’m letting go of you and embracing a more positive and self-loving mindset. I’m going to focus on being present with my children and enjoying every moment with them, without your constant reminders of what I’m not doing.

Goodbye, Mom Guilt. It’s time for me to fly free and be the best mother I can be.

Sincerely,

A Mother Letting Go
